About Daniel Severa
Dan combines his precise analytical mind with creative thinking. He is a master of none, his focus will always be to embrace the new and to solve the puzzle.
A seasoned creative generalist with experience in marketing campaign development, motion design, coding, and a BFA degree in Visual Effects with the focus on compositing. His primary focus has always been spent on modern trends, tools and media. He’s incorporated Unreal Engine into commercial post-production before it was cool, presented his event design concepts to clients using VR presentations since 2016, has incorporated AI image editing tools for VFX and motion design in 2020. He’s been using various AI tools daily since March 2022.
He spent over 20 years working in the motion picture industry, but given his obsession with new challenges, for almost 10 of those years he’s intertwined his film and TV work with marketing creative development, event design, teaching and special project consulting.
His most challenging clients with the most rewarding experience over the years included a four year motion design cooperation with Novartis and the development of custom photo-booths for Magnum Photos, used as one of the main attractions for both the re-opening of Museum of Photography in Berlin and for Magnum Photos’ exhibition during Paris Photo 2014.
