Patrick Thomas is a graphic artist, author and educator. He studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art
in London before relocating to Barcelona in 1991. He currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He will talk about his decision to concentrate on projects that take place in public spaces.

We have invited Jiří Skála for this semester's first Visiting Artist & Lecture Series. His lecture will focus on the theme of work and artistic practice. He will explore this theme through several of his artworks from the last two decades. He will also highlight the meaning of work and how this specific activity has developed over the last twenty years in the Eastern European context.
