About Jan Buriánek
Ing. Jan Buriánek (*1974) is a consultant and project specialist in computer image processing technologies. Jan Buriánek is the author of a number of scientific publications focused on advanced image processing and has written more than 200 articles for popular technical magazines (PiXEL, CHIP, Computer World, PC Tunning…).
His professional career focuses on advanced image and video processing, stereoscopic imaging, computer graphics and computer vision, and he is an expert in motion capture (MOCAP), 3D reconstruction and image compression technologies.
He currently works for AV MEDIA, a.s. as a specialist in 3D projects, content and interactive multi-projection technologies.
He has produced many important installations in industry and culture and is one of the first stereographers in the Czech Republic (projects Hurvínek na sceně 3D, Jesus Christ Superstar 3D, V peřině 3D, Carmen 3D, Kozí příběh se sýrem 3D, …).
