Our inaugural Printmaking Friday Show presents students' print pieces created through relief, intaglio, and monoprint techniques, representing their own dream experiences. From intricate linework to bold, expressive forms and colors, this collection highlights the power of printmaking as a medium for storytelling, imagination, and personal exploration.

For this Friday show I asked the students to go out and experience the city in new and unexpected ways. I asked them to actively take in their surroundings and to communicate their personal feelings and experiences in a photographic series documenting this experience.

What makes illustration different from art? How does the audience shape the message? And how can images represent time and sequence? As they prepare for the next Friday Show, Foundation students have explored these ideas through illustration.
