At the end of Welcome week, we invite you to join us for a hike to discover Czech nature and culture just outside of the city.
This event will also be open to returning students, so you’ll also have the chance to speak and make friends with students who can help you integrate into the university and into life in Prague.
Join our traditional Welcome Walk to explore the hidden beauties of our capital city. We will meet in front of Costa Coffee at the train station Masarykovo nádraží on Friday, 20 September 2024 at 10:00.
This year’s route is planned to take you to Divoká Šárka, a nature reserve on the northwestern outskirts of Prague.
The hike is approximately 6 to 10 km, please wear waterproof shoes or hiking shoes, as the track could be muddy in places.
We recommend bringing some snacks or packing a full lunch to go,
as there aren’t many options to buy food—just one McDonald’s along the way.
This event is open to all PCU Students and Staff.
