ACCA is the largest, most prestigious and fast-growing global body of finance, accounting and management professionals, and this latest collaboration between the ACCA and Prague College represents a significant development of our relationship.

Two 15-week-long semesters will run each February and September, and lessons will be planned to suit working professionals. All lessons will be taught by qualified lecturers from Prague College, including Bruce Gahir, Associate Head of the Prague College School of Business and a member of the Global Ethics Board of the ACCA.

Students who complete the course will come out with a qualification that will be appreciated by employers in the Czech Republic and all over the world.

This is yet another step in the ongoing strong relationship between Prague College and the ACCA. Since last year, Prague College’s BA (Hons) Business Finance and Accounting programme has been accredited by the ACCA which means that students who complete the BA programme at Prague College can benefit from five exemptions from their ACCA examinations.

‘Becoming the teaching and examination centre for the ACCA is a huge step for Prague College, and we are very proud that we have met all of the conditions to make that happen,’ says Gahir. ‘Over 1,200 students in the Czech Republic are currently studying for their ACCA qualification, many of them from home, but now Prague College will be able to offer those that prefer their studies to be led by qualified lecturers to attend the school and increase their chance for a successful completion of the ACCA exams.’
