Prague City Architecture Walk: Prague Castle Courtyards & Gardens

Come for a second walk with Alex Went and discover Royal Castle courtyards and gardens.
We will meet at Královský letohrádek (tram stop).

We look at the Northern Castle Gardens, including the Renaissance masterpieces of the royal summerhouse (Paolo della Stella) and the Ball-game house (Bonifac Wohlmut).

We proceed through the second courtyard of the castle, taking in the Golden Gate, before descending via the Bull Staircase to the Southern Gardens, remodelled in 1929 -1931 by the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik. We descend to the Waldstein Gardens.

We proceed down the Castle Steps to Thunovská and enter the Waldstein Gardens from the Czech Senate building.
