Film Nights: Cave of Forgotten Dreams
20 November 2024 @ 18:00 - 20:00

Next Wednesday, we will present Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) – a documentary exploring the oldest known pictorial creations inside the Chauvet caves of Southern France. Directed by Werner Herzog, Cave of Forgotten Dreams will transport you in time, and we can’t wait to embark on that journey with you!
Before Herzog’s documentary, we will be screening a short student film – Miserable by Faris Sabanija.
Prague Film School Alum and current 3rd year Creative Media Production student Faris Sabanija brings you ‘Miserable’, a fifteen minute short film unraveling the toxic relationship between a young couple during a birthday party representing a relatively taboo and undermined perspective of men in abusive relationships.
“With this short film, I want to portray an emotional and verbal side of violence than physical violence because psychological abuse is difficult to notice. A person goes through a series of manipulations by the abuser thinking he is the problem, therefore he is confused how to behave, not to forget, it is difficult to trust another person after such traumatic experience.” – Faris Sabanija
