Join us on June 9th at 17:00 for a final exhibition Take These Reflective Fragments of Us and Make Them Into a Responsive Whole, running until 19:00 at City Centre Campus.
The exhibition will be accompanied by DJ L’Hermite (Foundation’s student Victor) and DJ Rigo (Fine Art Experimental Media student).
This has passed through us, a fragment of arable land carried by each of us, a fertile reflection. This is laid by us, looked at by you, deprived, sublimated by you and you who lay your eyes on them, irritates us, shakes us, frees us from us.
Take these reflective fragments of us and make them into a responsive whole.
Chimera is an error, an anomaly but that is living in Concorde with its state. A lesson to learn from the Self-hatred we shouldn’t put upon ourselves. Cause even if it shouldn’t be, it is. An aggregate which, in its specificity, makes sense and inescapably brings us back to the fantastic, the myth and the dream, pushing the balance in a union of natural, predatory forces as if to scare us, to sublimate us?
