Exploring Business Skills with PCU: an introduction to Business Studies

Lecturers from the School of Business will conduct a free workshop for students who are interested in pursuing Business, Management or Finance and Accounting at university and wish to learn more about alternative pathways to British Higher Education.

Throughout the day students have the opportunity to dive deeper into topics that they are curious about, practice teamwork and presentation skills, gain helpful tips and get a taste of what to expect when studying at a university.

Schedule:
10:00 – 12:00 Welcome Presentation & Workshop Introduction
12:00 – 13:00 Lunch Break with refreshments
13:00 – 14:00 Students prepare their presentations
14:00 – 16:00 Presentations, Q&A, & Summary

For the workshop student participants will be given a case study which will explore specialist areas such as Human Resource Management, Financial Accounting, Marketing and Global Leadership.

Parents are welcome to attend from 14:00 to enjoy seeing what the students have learnt over the course of the day, as well as to learn more about PCU’s undergraduate programmes.
