Ackent IH Conference for Teaching English as a Second Language

Akcent IH annual conference, in partnership with PCU’s School of Education is taking place on Saturday 11th November at Základní škola Bílá in Prague 6.

The conference is organised in the form of plenary presentations and practically focused workshops with the unifying theme of Teaching English as a Second Language. Workshops focus on various teaching techniques, the role of stories in language learning, the use of advertising and visual materials in lessons. The workshop topics and content are very relevant for both student teachers and current teachers who instruct students of any age and any level of English.

Several lecturers from the School of Education are presenting and School of Education Bachelor’s level students are highly encouraged to attend and will pay just 350czk (half-price) for the whole conference and benefit from expanding their knowledge and teaching skills from esteemed educational leaders.
